Kellington Farmers Market
Local producers come to you
Kellington Farmers Market was started last October as a Parish Council initiative. As well as providing wonderful local produce to the residents of Kellington, Beal and Birkin it has become a regular date for everyone to meet up in the village hall. The market sells meat, fresh fish, vegetables, cheese, eggs, pies, home made preserves and jams as well as home baking.
Crispy Roast Goose
Goose is relatively expensive but a little goes a long way. It is a rich, fairly fatty meat but it has a completely delicious flavour. Whatever you do, do not throw away the fat - it is perfect for roasting your spuds, in fact, once you have tasted potatoes roasted in goose fat, nothing will ever be quite the same!
