North Yorkshire artisan cheese makers, Shepherds Purse now supplies two of the country's largest private members clubs, the Royal Automobile Club and the Institute of Directors (IoD). The company supplies through the London Cheese Board, specialist dairy supplier to all sectors of the foodservice industry bringing the finest foods to the finest tables.



Philip Corrick, executive chef for the Royal Automobile Club and Roger Evans, head chef with the IoD will visit the Thirsk based cheese maker this month to taste some of its latest innovations and tour the dairy. RAC, a private members club steeped in more than 100 years of history and tradition as a social and automobile club, uses Buffalo Blue, made with water buffalo milk and Mrs Bells Blue, made with ewe's milk on the cheeseboard at its fine dining restaurants housed in clubhouses in London's Pall Mall and Epsom.



The IoD, Europe's largest membership organisation for business leaders since its Royal charter in 1906, offers Shepherds Purse blue cheeses on the cheeseboard at Carlton, its London restaurant /brasserie. It boasts 45,000 members through 44 regional branches across the UK and an international network that covers six continents.
