Ainsty Farm Shop on the A59 at Green Hammerton now has it's own hive of bees! They have been kindly provided with the hive by Mrs Haigh of Nun Monkton and the bees are already taking full advantage of the Spring weather and are busy flying out and looking for pollen. This means that they will soon be able to sell truly local honey! The hive is away from the general public but observant customers will see them setting off across the fields from the outside area in the coffee shop.
